Six Random Things...

I've been tagged by a few of my blogger friends (Joy, Ana, and Teresa) to list 6 random things about me that you may not know...

1. My favorite place to eat is Chick-fil-a...Michael even took me there for Valentine's Day and my birthday one year! We eat there multiple times during the week, and I could eat there for breakfast, lunch, and supper in the same day. The crazy thing is that I worked there for 5 years, from when I was 15 to 20. One of my brothers and my sister worked there, too. They gave me 2 college scholarships, too!


2. I play the French Horn and made the All-State band my Senior year of high school.


3. I worry way too much about everything and have to constantly quote the verse "The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." (Deut. 31:8) God brought this to my mind over and over and over again while we were in Russia, especially the second time.


4. Michael and I met in college. He came to Union University as a Junior transfer student and was placed into a co-ed small group that I was helping to lead. We started dating after the group was "officially" done meeting for the semester and have been together ever since.


5. I have 2 brothers and 1 sister. (You may have guessed that from #1!) I enjoyed growing up in a big family, and we have a lot of fun when we are all together...now with spouses and kids, too!


6. I had 4 great friends my age who grew up in the same church with me since birth (we were known as the "Fab 5") and another great friend who joined all of us around high school. We all went to college together and are all still close today. We all turned 30 this year and met a few weeks ago to celebrate our birthdays. Here is a picture from our time together:
