Document Progress
Yesterday and today Michael ran errands picking up documents and getting them certified and apostilled. He mailed 12 documents (2 copies of each) to CHI late this morning. Now, we are waiting on one document from the Illinois Secretary of State that we sent to be apostilled last Thursday. We are also still waiting on a letter from the Memphis CIS office to be able to get refingerprinted. We're eagerly checking the mail each day looking for both of these documents. After these things are done, we will just wait to hear more from the agency and the judge.
We have learned that 2 of the 3 Tver CHI families waiting for their children ahead of us have received court dates (February 1 and 4) including our good friends from California the Sullentrops! We are so happy for these families as they have waited between 5-9 months to get their children. We are praying for them as they prepare to travel next week, go to court, and pick up their kids!

You've made really good progress. I'm glad that other families in Tver have received court dates and pray that you too will receive news soon! I know your little boy is ready for mommy and daddy to return to bring him home!
