Making Progress...
We've made a lot of progress in our packing over the past 2 days. Yesterday morning, I organized our packing list and shopping list. Then, we went Target, Gap Outlet, and Build-a-Bear to buy things we needed. We still need a few items but have gotten quite a bit! My mom and Michael's mom have both been helping with items we need, too! As of tonight, we have our clothes semi-packed and have everything else in little organized piles in the baby's room. We've purchased travel insurance, contacted Visa that we will be in Russia, and contacted Cingular to get international calling added to our phones. There are several things that cannot be done until tomorrow, but I wanted to be extremely organized going into tomorrow. As you can tell, I may be a little too focusing on "organizing!" Michael thinks it is pretty funny, and I keep telling him that at least he can feel good that things are coming together. I keep giving him items on our many "lists," and he is very willing to help with packing, too!
Tomorrow morning, we need to pick up the final documents. Please pray for this, as we are facing a challenge with our warranty deed (county v. state on authenticating the document.) We've also tried to get our medical forms for the past 5 weeks, and our doctor said she will have them tomorrow morning. If there are any mistakes, it will be too late. My mom is going to the local CHI office to get one form. Then, we'll get things together to be certified and apostilled and then scan them to CHI. We're praying that things will go smoothly.
Today is our 7th anniversary, so it is time for me to take a break and go out with Michael to celebrate! We have so much to celebrate this year! Only two more days until we leave for Tver...

Happy Anniversary - what a gift and reason to celebrate you have this year. You are super organized although you really don't have much of a choice, do you? Praying everything works out tomorrow and hoping our paths will cross in Moscow :)

Happy Anniversary! So much to celebrate this month! How awesome that you get to see your son at Christmas!!!! What an incredible gift. Yes, there is so much to do isn't there? A lot of it you will need, but some of it you won't. We brought Tylenol PM for the plane and it helped us rest and adjust to the time change faster. A sleeping mask & ear plugs are a must if you're flying during the day. I'm so excited for you! Now I get to share in your blog of your adoption adventure!
Happy Anniversary---We love you guys and will pray for you both on your journey. God is great!!!
